Recruitment of a multi-skilled employee


The Embassy of Belgium in Seoul is responsible for the diplomatic relations between Belgium and Korea.

We are currently hiring an accounting/ polyvalent employee who is responsible for the administrative follow-up of the files that have been assigned to him/her and who contributes to the proper functioning of the embassy.
 

Job Title: Multi-skilled Employee
Period: 01/07/2019 – unlimited; 1 year trial

  

Job Description:
Managing files related to the accounting of the Embassy in accordance with the applicable guidelines and regulations
Review financial data 
Provide advice on accounting principles 
Translating internal and external documents and / or acting as an interpreter
Assist in the management of the goods and services of the Embassy, in accordance with applicable guidelines and regulations
Be responsible for the social media and assist with the public diplomacy of the Embassy
Back-up of the consular section  


Requirements:
Basic knowledge of accounting principles
Familiarity with social media
Good oral and written communication skills
Being able to work independently
Excellent organizational skills
Fluent in Korean and English
Good knowledge of Dutch or French, and basic knowledge of another national language of Belgium
Being a team player
Good knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook)
Being able to compile a wide range of texts in English and Korean
Be customer-friendly at the counter and on the telephone
Have the right to live in Korea. The Embassy will not provide any assistance in obtaining a visa or residence permit.  


The Embassy in return offers good working conditions in a challenging and international environment. The job will give you the opportunity to develop and perfect a broad array of skills and generic competencies, with a monthly salary of 2.966.950 KRW. The working hours run from 9 a.m. to 5.30 p.m. Monday to Friday.
