4/20 유럽대학연구소 Simon Hix 교수님의 특강
지난 4월 20일, 이재승 센터장님의 주관으로 유럽대학연구소(European University Institute) Simon Hix 교수님의 특강이 개최되었습니다.
Hix 교수님은 브렉시트 이후의 영국-유럽연합 관계를 다각적으로 분석하여 설명해주셨습니다.
해당특강에는 중간고사기간임에도 불구하고 많은 학생들이 참석하여, 이재승 센터장님의 주재 아래 Hix 교수님과의 질의응답을 통해 열띤 토론을 펼쳤습니다.
이번 행사를 통해 노르딕-베네룩스 센터는 유럽정치에 대한 본교 학생들의 높은 관심과 호기심을 확인하였습니다.
따라서 본 센터는 향후 이와 같은 특강을 주기적 개최하여 학생들의 기대를 충족시키고자 합니다.
April 20, 2023-the Nordic-Benelux Center and Jean Monnet EU Centre co-hosted a Special Lecture delivered by Professor Simon Hix at the KU International hall.
Professor Hix presented a lecture, “Beyond Brexit: Where is the EU-UK Relationship Heading?” explaining the current situation of the UK after Brexit and its economic impact.
Professor Hix is a Stein Rokkan Chair in Comparative Politics at the European University Institute, in Florence.
His main research areas are comparative, European, and EU political behaviour and institutions – in particular parties and party systems, public opinion and voting behaviour, electoral systems and the design of democracy, and legislative behaviour.
