5/24 리투아니아 장 모네 석좌교수 Mindaugas Jurkynas 특강
지난 5/24일 리투아니아의 Mindaugas Jurkynas 장 모네 석좌교수가 Richardas Selpavicius 주한 리투아니아 대사가 배석한 가운데 우크라이나 전쟁과 관련한 유럽연합과 러시아의 관계에 대해 특강을 했습니다.
특히 Jurkynas 교수는 러시아의 정치군사적 위협 증대로 인한 발트해 연안 국가들이 겪는 문제에 대해 잘 설명해주셨습니다.
해당특강에는 참석한 학생들은 잘 주목받지 못한 발트해 지역에 대해 큰 관심을 보였으며, Jurkynas 교수와 다양한 질문을 하면서 토론을 진행했습니다.
노르딕-베네룩스 센터는 본교 학생들이 발트해 지역에 대한 관심을 적극 고려하여, 향후 해당지역을 잘 배우고 이해할 수 있는 특강 및 행사를 지속적으로 개최할 계획입니다.
On the 24th May, the Jean Monnet Chair Professor of Lithuania, Mindaugas Jurkynas gave a special lecture on the relationship between the EU and Russian concerning the Russo-Ukrainian War. And the Lithuanian ambassador to Korea, Richardas Selpavicius was also present for this lecture.
Especially, Professor Jurkynas explained well problems of the Baltic countries, which have been caused by increased political and military threats from Russia.
During this lecture, many students were much interested in the Baltic region, which has not been remarked so much until today. And they asked diverse questions and discussed with Professor Jurkynas.
The Nordic-Benelux Center perceived well the increased interets of our students on the Baltic region, so that we are planning to organize other special lectures or events for a better understanding about the region.
